Description:	Join the North Herts Guild of Singers as we explore all things Mendelssohn. Felix’s music needs very little introduction - we present possibly his most famous choral work Hear My Prayer (and O for the Wings of a Dove) alongside a beautiful setting of the Ave Maria and a rousing setting of Laura Sion. His sister Fanny’s music is equally spectacular and is gaining increasing popularity within the classical music sphere. We are excited to perform her unjustly neglected cantata Hiob alongside a selection of her popular Gartenlieder. Conducted by Harry Bradford and accompanied by Colin Spinks, alongside four talented young soloists, it promises to be a fascinating evening. Please note that tenor soloist Matthew Sotillo-Cooke is unable to take part and will be replaced by Benedict Munden.
