NORTH HERTS GUILD OF SINGERS
The North Herts Guild of Singers is a happy and successful choir which has been going strong for more than 50 years. Based in Hitchin, we are one of the best-known and best-supported choirs in the area.
BACK IN ACTION
The choir has now been back rehearsing live for almost three full terms and preparations are well in hand for our fourth post-pandemic concert.
JUBILEE COME AND SING
We were delighted to welcome a number of guest singers at our special celebration of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, a full day workshop of Mozart's stunning Coronation Mass alongside three other Coronation Anthems.
It proved to be a wonderful, rousing day of singing ending in a full sing-through with four up and coming young soloists, Rachel Ridout, Louise Wood, Robert Folkes and Samuel Morton-Morris. The day was led by our own Harry Bradford, an exceptional prize-winning conductor rapidly making a name for himself. As a young chorister Harry sang with the Chapel Royal Choir and still sometimes joins them on special Royal occasions - including the service for the Jubilee!
